Garden Trend 2015

Wanted:
Easy to care for, low maintenance, un-fussy,
great texture and color.
Must be able to thrive outdoors in summer and indoors all winter.

Which plant do you think could answer this personal ad?
Welcome to the wonderful world of succulents!
THE hottest trend this year, succulents are versatile and can be
used in so many ways.

They are the perfect plants for people who travel frequently,
require little maintenance, look fabulous outside all summer,
and are happy to come into your house in the winter.

We will be offering a nice selection of succulents this spring in a
variety of 'presentations'. Succulent wreaths are perfect for hanging on a sunny fence,
or laying flat on your patio table as an umbrella ring.

Hanging succulent globes add interest and are sure to please
even gardeners with brown thumbs.

A rusty old rim?  You'll never 'tire' of succulents in this container!

An old pair of kicks?  How posh!

Wood harvested from your yard?  Succulent ikebana.

Grandpa's old tool box?  Well, what else were you going to do with it?

Because they require so little soil and water,
your choices for pots or containers is unlimited so long as you
provide for proper drainage.

Short on imagination?
All of these photos were on Pinterest.  Just type in succulents and prepare to
waste an hour or so oohing and ahhing.

There are more things to do with succulents than any of us can dream.

Happy Gardening,
Kathy and Patty
